The Black Accountants Talent Network (BATN) has appointed Gennie DePass to serve as Digital Marketing and Communications Director. In the role, DePass will work toward expanding the (BATN) brand and increasing partnership opportunities.
“Mentorship and developing strong relationships are key in building a career within any field and it is especially important for diverse groups within the workplace. I truly believe in (BATN)’s mission and I am excited to start working toward helping the organization grow,” said DePass.
“Gennie DePass brings both agency and non-profit experience to the table. She is a creative thinker that knows how to reach multiple audiences, which makes her an excellent choice to lead (BATN)’s communications efforts,” said (BATN) founder Isaiah E. Bailey.
DePass has 10 years’ experience within the marketing and communications field and a passion for storytelling. She holds a master’s degree in Digital Innovation in Marketing from Temple University and also received her bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Temple as well.
DePass has served as a consultant for (BATN) since the organizations launch and will begin serving in an official capacity on February 1, 2021.
